Students shape and conduct small empirical research project with the usage of qualitative research methods. Topic and methodological design of the student's research work depends on individual choices of the student and on the decision for the course content orientation, which can differ from one to another study year; research work can be a pre-preparation for further research work for Master thesis. Research work is (with consideration of research methods' requirements) oriented to these skeleton content areas:
- characteristics of adult education in different life-stages;
- education and learning at various life and work transitions
- education and learning of diverse adult groups
- adult education according to social position and the role of individual;
- participation of adults in education;
- adult's motivation and barriers for education;
- forms and methods in adult education;
- offerers and conductors of adult education in Slovenia;
- special characteristics of education and learning in changing/different social reality.
