Latin morphology: four conjugations (indicatives of all tenses), five declinations (nouns and adjectives), interrogative pronouns, certain conjunctions (causal, conditional etc.) and prepositions.
Latin syntax: expressing commands, independent interrogative sentences; subordinate clauses (partly): causal, conditional.
Translation: reading and translating original quotations, funerary inscriptions, and simpler texts (selected according to the needs of archaeology).
Roman civilization and culture: basic overview of historical and geographical framework and of social, cultural, and civilizational environment in the Antiquity (in accordance with the selected texts).
